Singapore Food Review: Chong Qing Grilled Fish (重庆烤鱼) at Chinatown, Singapore

17:58

Chong Qing Grilled Fish specialies in Chinese Szechuan cuisine, a charcoal grilled fish served in a spicy mala gravy, which is their signature dish. Chong Qing Grilled Fish has become a popular late-night haunt for traditional Chinese Szechuan food in April 2010.

The ambience at Chong Qing Grilled Fish (Chinatown Branch) is clean, though the sturdy dark wooden furniture is closely packed to maximise their seating. It is quite squeezed in the shop. As a result, the place is noisy and bustling when the shop is crowded with customers.
Grilled SeaBass In Spicy Fragrant Broth
Food at Chong Qing Grilled Fish consists mainly of traditional Chinese Szechuan cuisine. The majority of food in the menu is naturally savoury, salty, and spicy. Customers get to choose your preferred portions, medium or large. Personally think that the price is slightly high for add-on options.

Szechuan Mouth Watering Chicken
Szechuan Mouth Watering Chicken is a popular Szechuan appetizer, featuring chilled poached chicken in a spicy, oily gravy. The chicken has tender, succulent chicken meat that is fresh and sweet.
